Meet Captain Jeremy Brenner

Captain Jeremy Brenner’s passion for fishing is rooted in a lifetime spent on Wisconsin waters, starting from his earliest childhood memories. He grew up fishing for panfish and bass on small inland lakes near Lakewood, WI, quickly developing the foundational skills that would guide his career. As he matured, his focus sharpened, leading him into competitive angling across various bass circuits and open tournaments throughout the state. This diverse background not only cultivated a deep love for the sport but also ingrained a versatile approach to tackling different species and water types. Later, he channeled this competitive spirit into founding the Generations Lanes Multi-Species Fishing League in 2012, perfecting the flexibility needed to succeed on various local fisheries.

Captain Brenner’s competitive expertise is particularly visible in his extensive history on the National Walleye Tour (NWT). Beginning in 2016, he fished the entire circuit as a co-angler for four years, accumulating an impressive record that includes three top-10 finishes and seven checks cashed across 16 tournaments. This intense exposure allowed him to gain invaluable knowledge and experience fishing alongside over 30 top professionals, including renowned anglers like Ted Takasaki, Mark Martin, and Dan Stier. This exposure has been instrumental in honing the nuanced skills needed for high-level angling. In recent years, Captain Brenner has shifted to fishing the NWT as a Pro, notably finishing 19th out of 144 on Lake Winnebago in 2023, confirming his status as a knowledgeable and formidable angler.

In more recent years, Captain Brenner has channeled his focus heavily toward the dynamic waters of Lake Michigan out of Sheboygan, WI. Since 2021, he’s concentrated on Salmon, running approximately 50 charter trips annually and cementing his expertise in this challenging deep-water fishery. His dedication to Salmon fishing is globally recognized, as he spent nine weeks total in 2023 and 2024 guiding on the renowned Nushagak River at Alaska Salmon Camp. This specialized experience ensures that when you step aboard his Sheboygan WI fishing charters, you are fishing with a guide who has not only mastered the local Salmon and Trout grounds but has successfully guided on some of the best Salmon waters in the world.

The Charter Vessels

To complement his expertise, Captain Brenner operates vessels perfectly suited for the waters of Sheboygan and the surrounding lakes. For the demanding Lake Michigan Salmon and Trout season, he runs a 28' Baja Cruiser, a safe and powerful boat that has been specifically set up and optimized for Salmon trolling. This well-equipped vessel easily accommodates four to six customers, ensuring a comfortable and highly effective fishing platform. For Walleye trips on inland waters like Lake Winnebago, he utilizes a 23’ Crestliner Authority, a fast and capable aluminum fishing boat. Each vessel reflects a commitment to providing the safest and most productive charter experience possible.
